We are searching in Southern California for a Senior Citrix Engineer.  You are an exceptional individual performer in the delivery of professional services in their Technical Specialty. The position delivers a high-quality solution that meets the technical specifications and requirements of the project, and manages resources, as needed, to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES 

• Implements the pre-approved Statements of Work and delivers the project on time and within scope
• Follows approved project management methodology, ensuring that all of the required steps are followed, deliverables are produced, and approvals are obtained from the appropriate parties
• Maintains responsibility for project/program issue resolution, escalating to the Manager when necessary
• Participates in project/customer kickoff meetings, status reports and milestones
• Reports weekly on project progress and accomplishments to the Project Manager
• Troubleshoots and resolves customer issues during implementation to ensure on-time results within scope
• Notifies Manager and Project Manager when project requirements appear to be moving beyond scope
• Verifies alignment to quality standards 
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

 
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other similar related field and 4 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies
• 5-10 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies in lieu of degree

 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) – Mid to Expert Level
• Citrix Application Delivery Controller (NetScaler) – Mid to Expert Level
• Citrix Provisioning (PVS)
• Citrix AppLayering
• Workspace Environment Manager (WEM)
• Citrix Director
• Citrix StoreFront
• Citrix Application Delivery Controller (NMAS)
• Excellent Documentation skills
• Ability to handle the project without much hand-holding
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Designing multi-datacenter Citrix Environment
• Networking Knowledge that relates to Citrix ADC (NetScaler) – vLANs, Routing etc.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, including GPOs
• Hypervisor Environment (VMware ESXi, Citrix Hypervisor, Hyper-V)
• DHCP, DNS

 
Preferred

• Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V)
• Citrix Certified Professional - Networking (CCP-N)
• “Specialist" practicum certification in Virtualization and/or Networking would be a plus.
