Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for driving all aspects of the project from definition through completion. The position requires interfacing with customers and resources and includes planning, risk assessment and mitigation of potential issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the development of project plans, budgets and timelines and scope resource allocation
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously
  • Ensure that issues and risks are identified and managed early in the process to mitigate surprises, risk to scope, cost and schedule
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery
  • Works as a billable resource managing projects where a PM resource is warranted
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project (i.e. on schedule delivery and within budget constraints)
  • Manage changing requests from customers and assessing the impact on the project
  • Partner with Service Delivery Coordinators to ensure alignment to quality standards
  • Responsible for entering all work as activities or service tickets, submitting weekly time sheets and expense reports in the project management software.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of standardized project documentation to include project plans, agendas, action item lists, and deliverable
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested
  • Strong process orientation and ability to orchestrate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated project management skills, techniques and methodology with past track record of successful project completion
  • Excellent communication skills to work with multiple high profile stake holders
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Strategic mindset with strong planning, analytical, negotiation, decision-making, workflow redesign and process improvement skills

  • Infrastructure experience
  • Must have a PMP
  • Change management, risk mitigation and scope management processes and methodologies
  • Regional travel will be will required
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field and 4 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies
  • 6 years of PMP experience in one or more technologies, including Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, VMware, Storage, Security, in lieu of degree
